PRT062070: Dual SYK-JAK Inhibitor

Portola has identified compounds with activity against Syk and JAK that may have a role in inflammatory diseases and B-cell cancers, such as non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).

PRT062070, Portola’s lead compound in its Syk-specific and JAK franchise, has been shown to be a highly potent inhibitor of Syk and the JAK family kinases in a broad panel of in vitro kinase and cellular assays. PRT062070 was shown to reduce inflammation in a dose-dependent manner in preclinical in vivo models of rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, PRT0262070 is active in a broad array of NHL cell lines and in CLL primary tumors.
